Leon researches how to build and design intelligent systems—broadly defined as human and programmable systems with decision-making capabilities and feedback mechanisms—to align system behavior with long-term objectives. His work focuses on AI, blockchain, and energy, which he views respectively as enhancing productive forces, reshaping production relations, and supporting both.
About Me: Leon Leng is a Ph.D. student in Information Systems & Operations Management at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, with minors in Computer Science, Statistics, and Economic Theory. He holds a B.S. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and completed a visiting program at UC Berkeley.
